O&M Manager – North of England (Remote)

About the role

Adamas Wind is seeking an experienced Operations & Maintenance (O&M) Manager to lead the delivery of safe, efficient and commercially effective wind farm services across the North of England. This home‑based position offers flexibility while requiring regular travel to sites in the North East and North West.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and promote a strong safety culture across the region.
• Conduct operational and SHEQ audits, ensuring timely closure of actions.
• Manage turbine availability, regional performance targets and service delivery.
• Oversee planned and corrective maintenance activities.
• Coordinate labour, contractors and operational resources.
• Develop and support Lead Technicians and operational teams.
• Lead customer‑facing meetings and provide performance reporting.
• Control operational budget, stock governance and cost management.
• Identify training, recruitment and development needs.

Required profile

• Proven managerial experience within the wind turbine industry.
• Strong understanding of wind turbine operations, maintenance and safety‑critical environments.
• Experience managing operational teams across multiple sites.
• Ability to travel regularly across the North of England and stay overnight when required.

Required skills

• Familiarity with operational management systems (e.g., X5, CM tools).
• Knowledge of WTSR and client contractual requirements.
