OME Key Account Technology Partner

About the role

Thales is looking for an OME Key Account Technology Partner to strengthen technical engagement with land customers across the UK and export markets. Based in Glasgow, this hybrid role will work closely with sales, product strategy and technical teams to ensure Thales meets evolving defence and security requirements over the next decade.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with OME Land Sales to embed technical discussions early in customer engagements.
• Gather and analyse customer technical needs for the next 5‑10 years, focusing on primes and integrators.
• Share Thales OME roadmaps, identify gaps and promote standard products to minimise customisation.
• Explore alternative solutions that deliver at least 90% of capability with minimal new development.
• Influence product and technology roadmaps using customer feedback and seek funding for R&D initiatives.
• Foster cross‑domain and international collaboration to meet land customer needs.
• Expand SME and partner networks to support portfolio growth and market leadership.

Required profile

• Proven experience engaging with land‑focused defence customers and integrators.
• Strong ability to translate customer requirements into technical concepts and product strategies.
• Excellent collaboration skills across sales, engineering and senior leadership.
• Strategic mindset with a focus on long‑term capability development.
