On-Prem IAM Support Engineer – Manchester

About the role

We are seeking an On‑Prem Identity & Access Management (IAM) Support Engineer to join our Manchester team. You will be responsible for maintaining and supporting critical on‑prem identity services, ensuring secure lifecycle management and strong governance.

Key responsibilities

• Administer Active Directory – manage users, groups and Group Policy Objects in a live production environment.
• Support Microsoft Identity Manager (MIM) – handle Joiner/Mover/Leaver (JML) processes and related integrations.
• Manage and maintain internal PKI using Active Directory Certificate Services (AD CS).
• Ensure smooth identity lifecycle management and enforce access governance policies.
• Troubleshoot and resolve IAM‑related incidents across on‑prem systems.

Required profile

• Proven experience supporting MIM in a production environment.
• Strong background with JML processes implemented via MIM.
• Solid hands‑on administration of Active Directory, including users, groups and GPOs.
• Experience with AD CS or internal PKI environments.
• Excellent problem‑solving and operational support capabilities.

What we offer

• £60,000 – £80,000 per year
