On Site AV Service Engineer

About the role

We are seeking an On‑Site AV Service Engineer to deliver high‑quality client support for audio‑visual, broadcast and video‑conferencing systems. You will work directly at customer sites across London and the South East, ensuring equipment is installed, maintained and troubleshooted to the highest standards.

Key responsibilities

• Provide prompt, courteous on‑site assistance in line with service level agreements.
• Diagnose, repair, test and upgrade broadcast, AV, video‑conference, display and presentation technologies.
• Perform preventive maintenance and resolve faults on electronic communication systems.
• Read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics and technical drawings.
• Maintain workshop tidiness, safety standards and calibration of test equipment.
• Keep accurate customer and company records and ensure a professional appearance.

Required profile

• Legally entitled to work in the UK and based in the UK.
• Client‑facing with the ability to stay calm under pressure.
• Experience as an AV commissioning or field service engineer seeking stable, set‑hour work.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Q‑SYS / QSYS DSP platforms.
• Experience configuring Crestron, Extron and Kramer control systems.
• Strong knowledge of AV, broadcast, streaming, video‑conferencing and stage‑lighting equipment.
