On-Site Software Support Specialist

About the role

Join Brock Solutions as an On‑Site Software Support Specialist at London Heathrow Airport. You will be the first point of contact for SmartSuite technical incidents, providing hands‑on support to a diverse airport user base.

Key responsibilities

• Work daily on‑site at Heathrow Airport, representing Brock Solutions for SmartSuite incidents.
• Troubleshoot hardware issues across a multi‑terminal network of workstations, scanners and peripheral devices.
• Become a SmartSuite product specialist, acquiring airport domain and application knowledge to triage software problems.
• Interact directly with end‑users, deliver monthly service reviews and participate in airport community events.
• Handle both local incidents and remote cases as part of a 7:00 AM‑11:00 PM GMT coverage rotation, with occasional overnight or weekend shifts.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• Knowledge of Windows Server environments and high‑availability technologies such as Windows Failover Clustering.
• Familiarity with web servers, web services, Android platforms and Microsoft SQL Server administration.
• Experience with Azure or other cloud hosting solutions.
• Basic networking fundamentals (VLANs, firewalls, VPNs, routers) and Mobile Device Management solutions.
