Online Business Trading Manager – 6‑Month Fixed‑Term

About the role

Superdrug is looking for an Online Business Trading Manager to lead the healthcare categories on Superdrug.com for a six‑month fixed‑term contract. Reporting to the Senior E‑com Trading Manager, you will shape the online strategy, drive sales, and improve conversion across the site.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor sales performance, identify improvement opportunities and propose actions to increase revenue.
• Create and execute event plans aligned with commercial deadlines and online offers.
• Analyse sales data, customer insights, market share and competitor activity to inform the e‑commerce strategy.
• Collaborate with buying, supply chain and category coordinators to source trending products and ensure accurate product content.
• Manage site merchandising, promotional calendars, pricing and upselling initiatives to boost average order value.
• Work with the UX team to enhance navigation, user journeys and conversion rates.
• Track competitor performance and industry trends for continuous optimisation.
• Contribute to the category‑level e‑commerce development roadmap.

Required profile

• Experience managing online healthcare or health‑beauty categories.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to turn data into actionable strategies.
• Understanding of site merchandising, stock movements and product performance.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally with buying, supply chain, UX and marketing teams.
