Online Team Leader – Glasgow Stores

About the role

Morrisons is hiring an Online Team Leader for its Giffnock store in Glasgow (38 Fenwick Road). The role leads, supports and coordinates the team that picks and packs online orders so they are ready on time. It is a permanent position of 30 hours per week, starting from 4am, with variable patterns including some evening and weekend work. The closing date is 18 November 2026.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the team to deliver outstanding, customer-centred service, listening to customer feedback to make continuous improvements.
• Coordinate colleagues so that all picking and despatch routines are completed on time, and coach the team to build confidence and high performance.
• Analyse department data with the Online Manager to identify opportunities, minimise substitutions and speed up processes.
• Maintain high department standards, ensure compliance with legal obligations and store policies, and look after team workload.

Required profile

• Ideally strong operational knowledge of online order routines, with proven experience coaching teams to meet strict deadlines.
• Able to build effective, supportive working relationships across the store.
• Able to manage workload and daily priorities, keeping picking and delivery schedules on time.
• A practical approach to department maintenance, with attention to substitutions, safety and compliance.
