Onsite Engineer (London Bridge)

About the role

Air IT Group is looking for an Onsite Engineer to work Monday to Friday at one dedicated client site in London Bridge. The role suits someone who enjoys building strong client relationships and providing hands-on technical support in an onsite environment, rather than travelling between several sites.

Key responsibilities

• Provide dedicated onsite technical support to users at the client office.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software and end-user IT issues.
• Install, configure, maintain and upgrade IT equipment such as desktops, laptops, servers and network equipment.
• Respond to incidents and service requests in line with agreed SLAs.
• Document work and maintain client records in the PSA system.
• Manage workload, build trusted relationships with the client and colleagues, and proactively suggest improvements.
• Ensure work meets security, safety and operational standards, and support project activity with wider technical teams.

Required profile

• Experience as a Field Engineer, Onsite Engineer or in a similar IT support role.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Customer-focused, able to work independently onsite and communicate with both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Desirable: experience with Microsoft Intune and Conditional Access, and knowledge of Mimecast.

• Networking: TCP/IP, firewalls, routing and switching.
