Onsite IT Support Engineer – 12‑month Fixed‑Term

About the role

We are looking for an Onsite IT Support Engineer to join O2 Business on a 12‑month fixed‑term contract. You will be the first point of contact for customers in Greater Manchester, delivering fast and reliable IT support both on‑site and remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Provide onsite IT support at customer locations, diagnosing and resolving hardware, software and basic networking issues.
• Log, manage and update all support tickets daily in the help‑desk system.
• Escalate complex incidents to senior engineers or project teams.
• Collaborate with the Projects Team on installations, upgrades and infrastructure deployments.
• Proactively identify potential problems and implement preventative actions.
• Maintain compliance with IT security policies and report any suspected incidents.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a customer‑facing IT support role.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 or Azure fundamentals.
• Good fault‑finding and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and build strong customer relationships.
