Operational Excellence Manager

About the role

We are seeking an Operational Excellence Manager to join a growing logistics organisation located near Heathrow. The role is permanent, full‑time and based on‑site, focusing on boosting warehouse productivity, operational efficiency and regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Drive continuous improvement across all warehouse operations.
• Develop, maintain and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Lead operational forecasting and workforce planning activities.
• Analyse key performance indicators and operational data to identify improvement opportunities.
• Detect and resolve operational bottlenecks through targeted strategies.
• Support compliance with CAA, HMRC and other regulatory requirements.
• Manage operational audits, governance processes and reporting.

Required profile

• Proven experience in logistics, warehousing or operations management.
• Strong background in process improvement and operational efficiency.
• Demonstrated ability to analyse KPIs, forecast demand and monitor performance.
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance and governance frameworks.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
