Operational Resilience Consultant (Contract)

About the role

Grant Thornton is seeking an experienced Operational Resilience Consultant to join its Agile Talent Community on a contract basis. You will work on short‑ to medium‑term projects for financial‑services clients, helping them meet FCA/PRA resilience requirements and strengthen third‑party risk management.

Key responsibilities

• Implement Operational Resilience regulations (FCA/PRA) for banking or insurance organisations.
• Design and embed Operational Resilience programmes, including identification of Important Business Services, impact tolerances and stress‑testing.
• Manage third‑party resilience, vulnerability assessments and risk‑treatment plans.
• Integrate resilience practices into enterprise risk management and internal audit frameworks.
• Support crisis management, incident threat detection and response activities where required.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an Operational Resilience consultant within UK financial services.
• Deep knowledge of Third‑Party Risk Management (TPRM) in banks or insurers.
• Strong understanding of internal audit, operational, cyber and enterprise risk management.
• Ability to analyse complex technical information and deliver concise, actionable insights.
