Operations Analyst – Hedge Fund (London)

About the role

Our client, a prestigious hedge fund in London, is seeking a junior Operations Analyst to join its operations team. The role offers a broad remit across clearing, collateral management, prime broker relationships and trade life‑cycle management, with a strong focus on project work and process improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily clearing and settlement activities.
• Oversee collateral management and prime broker interactions.
• Support trade life‑cycle processes from execution to settlement.
• Lead and contribute to operational infrastructure and process‑improvement projects (30‑40% of time).
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure smooth operations.

Required profile

• 2‑4 years of experience in operations, finance or related fields.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to work autonomously.
• Excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude.
