Operations Analyst – Market Risk (London)

About the role

The Market Risk Operations Analyst will support the daily risk reporting function for a London‑based trading desk. Working on‑site three days a week, you will ensure that valuation inputs and risk calculations are accurate and delivered on time.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain daily risk reporting activities across relevant applications and tools.
• Update observable valuation inputs such as exchange prices, broker quotes, volatilities and correlations.
• Analyse mark‑to‑market curves to verify trading system outputs.
• Calculate and communicate liquidity reserve figures to the desk.
• Produce regular and ad‑hoc risk metrics and portfolio analytics for commercial, risk management and other stakeholders.

Required profile

• Works under close supervision of a Manager or Team Lead.
• Delivers assigned work following established procedures and frameworks.
• Identifies process or system shortcomings and proposes improvements.
• Provides high‑quality analysis that informs senior colleagues.
