Operations and SRE Manager

About the role

We are looking for a senior leader to own the reliability of our production services at ICIS. The role combines people management with hands‑on SRE practice, driving AI‑Ops automation and continuous improvement for internal and external customers.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the transformation toward an AI‑Ops operating model, introducing intelligent alerting, automated triage and self‑healing capabilities.
• Own end‑to‑end incident and problem management, ensuring major incidents, post‑mortems and corrective actions are completed.
• Line‑manage and develop team leads, setting expectations, coaching and fostering delivery discipline.
• Strengthen operational process adherence, clarifying responsibilities and delegation.
• Drive SRE practices across observability, automation, disaster recovery, design for reliability and on‑call readiness.
• Balance engineering effort between security commitments, operational tickets, roadmap delivery and maintenance.
• Act as the liaison between Ops, engineering, product and business stakeholders, communicating priorities and risks.
• Identify practical automation and remediation opportunities to reduce toil and enable proactive operations.

Required profile

• Strong people leadership experience, including coaching, performance management and development of engineers.
• Hands‑on SRE background with proven incident, problem, RCA and disaster‑recovery expertise.
• Ability to influence cross‑functional teams where priorities compete or ownership is unclear.
• Track record of using metrics, service‑level data and observability to drive reliability improvements.
• Clear communicator who can articulate operational risks, trade‑offs and support needs to senior leadership.
