Operations Assistant – International Supply Chain & Procurement

About the role

Join Södra Wood as an Operations Assistant supporting inbound, outbound and compliance activities across the GB and Ireland business. You will work with suppliers, ERP and quality management systems, and help improve digital processes while gaining exposure to international supply‑chain operations.

Key responsibilities

• Raise purchase orders and liaise with suppliers on a daily basis.
• Analyse operational data, correct product information and support compliance activities.
• Identify and implement new digital processes to improve efficiency.
• Develop a detailed understanding of the ERP and Quality Management Systems (QMS) and how they integrate with wider operations.

Required profile

• Strong organisational and analytical ability with attention to detail.
• Comfortable working with systems, data and communicating with internal and external stakeholders.
• Proactive, adaptable and eager to learn about supply‑chain and business operations.

Required skills

• Experience with ERP systems.
• Data analysis capability.
• Familiarity with Quality Management Systems (QMS).
