Operations Associate – Late Shift (Horsham)

About the role

We are seeking an Operations Associate to join a world‑leading life‑sciences organisation at its Horsham site. Working the fixed late shift, you will support a high‑performing operations team that handles receiving, packaging, storing and distributing high‑value products across ambient, cold and frozen (-20°C) environments.

Key responsibilities

• Accurately pick, pack and prepare client orders to meet strict business targets.
• Receive incoming courier deliveries, log inventory into the management system and perform regular cycle counts.
• Execute production orders for client packaging requirements, including set‑up and clean‑down of operational areas and equipment.
• Complete all Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) documentation with high accuracy and within designated timelines.
• Maintain clean‑room and warehouse standards, follow SOPs and report any quality or safety risks.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, production or operations environment.
• Experience in a GMP/GxP, pharmaceutical or healthcare setting is highly desirable.
• Comfortable working in ambient, cold‑room and freezer environments handling manual tasks.
• Excellent numerical and written skills with a strong ability to follow SOPs and complete compliance logs accurately.
• A valid UK driving licence and personal transport are essential.

Required skills

• GMP knowledge and documentation.
• Proficiency with inventory management software.

• Hourly rate of £19.67 plus a 22% shift allowance (effective rate ~£24.00/hr).
• Consistent Monday‑to‑Friday schedule (14:00‑22:15) with weekends off.
