Operations Coordinator - Freight Forwarding

About the role

We are seeking an Operations Coordinator to manage air, sea, road and courier shipments from start to finish for a fast‑growing freight forwarder. You will work closely with carriers, suppliers and overseas agents to ensure smooth delivery and high profitability while providing excellent customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and monitor air, sea, road and courier shipments throughout the entire process.
• Negotiate rates with carriers and suppliers and compile accurate quotations.
• Liaise with overseas agents and manage shipment documentation.
• Provide exceptional customer service and resolve any issues that arise.
• Collaborate with the in‑house customs team, though direct customs entry is not required.

Required profile

• Previous experience in import forwarding.
• Familiarity with shipping documentation such as Bills of Lading.
• Strong attention to detail and methodical approach.
• Excellent customer service orientation.
• Good IT knowledge.
