Operations Coordinator

About the role

We are looking for an organised, proactive and people‑focused Operations Coordinator to support busy operational teams within the arboriculture sector. You will act as a central point of support, assisting with training, onboarding, scheduling, compliance, finance administration and community initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Support training plans, maintain training records and assist with apprenticeships and onboarding.
• Assist resource planning, procurement, plant and machinery hire, road space bookings and rota updates.
• Work with HR and Operations on recruitment activity, employee wellbeing initiatives and return‑to‑work processes.
• Process holiday requests, check timesheets and resolve employee queries.
• Prepare RAMS, arrange site inductions and liaise with the Compliance team.
• Create and maintain jobs in Procore, update budget and compliance information.
• Support invoice logs, financial tracking and forecasting activities.
• Participate in local projects and initiatives that create positive community impact.

• Capable of managing multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
• Positive, proactive and willing to take ownership of tasks.
• Collaborative team player who enjoys supporting others.
• Strong administrative skills with the ability to maintain accurate records.
• Comfortable working with operational systems and updating job, budget and compliance information.
