Operations Customs Administrator

About the role

Join a fast‑moving FMCG division as an Operations Customs Administrator. You will support the seamless movement of goods between the UK and the EU, working closely with planners, suppliers and customs agents.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and process import and export documentation in collaboration with Operations Planners and customs agents.
• Track each shipment from origin to destination, flagging discrepancies for the Operations Planner.
• Maintain an electronic filing system for all customs paperwork, ensuring audit‑ready records.
• Communicate with suppliers and customs agents to resolve documentation issues and guarantee on‑time deliveries.
• Assist with invoice processing, SKU set‑up in SAP and provide holiday cover for essential tasks.
• Monitor aged debts and support new product launches by creating barcodes and SKUs.

Required profile

• Strong organisational ability and meticulous attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills and a methodical work approach.
• Ability to prioritise tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
• Basic knowledge of customs or logistics is desirable but not mandatory.

Required skills

• Experience with SAP.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
