Operations Engineer – Energy Solutions

About the role

Edina is seeking an Operations Engineer to join its Bedford team. You will support the maintenance and optimisation of gas and diesel engine installations that help clients improve energy efficiency and achieve net‑zero targets.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on power generation equipment.
• Diagnose faults, repair or replace components, and ensure safe operation.
• Monitor performance data and implement optimisation measures.
• Collaborate with project teams to deliver reliable, low‑carbon energy solutions.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and compliance with health‑and‑safety standards.

Required profile

• Qualified mechanical or electrical engineer with experience in gas or diesel engine systems.
• Strong commitment to safety and quality standards.
• Ability to work independently on site and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
