Operations Manager – Financial Planning (Hybrid, London)

About the role

We are seeking an Operations Manager to lead the day‑to‑day running of our financial planning practice in the City of London. The role is hybrid, allowing you to work both from the office and remotely, and offers an immediate start for the right candidate.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee monthly payroll processing and bank reconciliations.
• Manage company accounts and produce Management Information reports.
• Support compliance activities and chair investment committee meetings.
• Lead recruitment, draft employment contracts, and conduct staff annual reviews.
• Organise staff incentives and manage IT hardware assets.
• Coordinate board meetings and drive marketing campaign initiatives.

Required profile

• Several years of senior operational and management experience within an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA) firm.
• Previous experience at another IFA firm, with a solid understanding of suitability reports and Management Information.
• Proven ability to manage payroll, accounts, and compliance processes.
