Operations Manager – Financial Services

About the role

We are seeking an Operations Manager with experience in the financial planning industry to join a growing business in the heart of London. You will lead a back‑office team of six, including paraplanners and administrators, and ensure the smooth, efficient running of day‑to‑day operations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the Paraplanning and Administration teams on a daily basis.
• Provide operational and administrative support to the director.
• Oversee and coordinate recruitment activities.
• Manage workflows to maintain smooth operations.
• Participate in change projects to ensure effective implementation.
• Act as the go‑to person for any business issues.
• Contribute to business strategy meetings.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing a team of at least six members.
• Background in the financial planning sector (as a manager, paraplanner or IFA administrator).
• Collaborative approach with a passion for leading teams.
• Strong interpersonal, professional communication and organisational abilities.
• Good IT proficiency.
