Operations Manager – Heathrow Airport

About the role

We are seeking an experienced, hands‑on Operations Manager to join our Heathrow leadership team. You will be responsible for driving service excellence, operational efficiency and commercial performance across our airport operations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and oversee day‑to‑day operations at Heathrow Airport.
• Manage and support airport‑based teams, Team Leaders and shop‑floor staff to achieve high performance.
• Deliver operational, financial and service KPIs while ensuring stakeholder satisfaction.
• Maintain strong relationships with airport authorities, brand partners and internal stakeholders.
• Support business growth and contribute to the development of the Heathrow business.
• Work flexible hours, including weekdays, occasional weekends, early starts and late finishes as required.

Required profile

• Proven experience in operational leadership within a fast‑paced airport or retail environment.
• Commercially driven with a focus on achieving measurable results.
• Visible, hands‑on management style; comfortable leading from the shop floor.
• Ability to work flexible schedules and adapt to changing operational demands.
