Operations Manager – Luxury Boutique

About the role

The Boutique Operations Manager will oversee the day‑to‑day running of Chanel’s Heathrow boutique, ensuring the Heart of House functions efficiently to support an exceptional client experience. Reporting to the Boutique Director, you will act as the operational backbone of the store.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the Heart of House team, including stock, after‑sales, and client care.
• Utilise IT tools such as Y2, RFID, Workday and Microsoft Office to control inventory, tills and grey‑market monitoring.
• Lead the rollout of pilot projects, new applications and technology for retail staff.
• Oversee HR processes: rotas, onboarding, payroll and employee experience.
• Coordinate maintenance, third‑party contractors and site visits to keep the boutique environment flawless.
• Ensure health, safety and security compliance, including Heathrow ID pass management and background checks.
• Control boutique resources (stationery, refreshments, uniforms) and authorise invoices for payment.

Required profile

• Proven track record of operational excellence in a fast‑paced luxury environment.
• Strong communication and listening skills to support and develop team members.
• Leadership experience with the ability to manage diverse teams and drive results.
