Operations Manager – Manufacturing

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead our fast‑moving factory environment. You will be responsible for driving continuous improvement across production, stores and engineering teams, applying Lean principles to meet the Plant and Company Business Improvement Plan.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure health and safety policies are adhered to across production and engineering departments.
• Maintain compliance with quality standards, analyse results and implement corrective actions.
• Plan, organise and coordinate resources to meet production and store requirements, delivering on‑time, in‑full to client specifications.
• Facilitate continuous‑improvement forums and quality circles to resolve production issues.
• Develop, propose and monitor functional budgets with the General Manager, addressing any variances.
• Lead, manage and develop staff, handling attendance, performance, grievances and health‑and‑safety training.
• Generate and analyse KPI reports, recommending trends, improvements and corrective actions.

Required profile

• Proven people‑management experience at an Operations Manager level.
• Background in manufacturing, production, industrial or similar environments.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work cross‑functionally with engineering, service, stores and logistics teams.
