Operations Manager – Manufacturing Site

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead operational delivery across a regulated manufacturing environment, ensuring facilities, people, systems and processes support safe, efficient and compliant operations. Reporting to the Head of Operations, this role is responsible for production support, warehousing, facilities and operational readiness.

Key responsibilities

• Lead day‑to‑day operational activities across the facility, ensuring safety, compliance and efficiency.
• Manage and develop the operational team, setting priorities, objectives and performance expectations.
• Maintain site compliance with health & safety, quality and regulatory standards, supporting audits and inspections.
• Oversee facilities and asset management, ensuring equipment availability, maintenance and optimal utilisation.
• Drive continuous‑improvement initiatives to enhance performance, efficiency and cost‑effectiveness.
• Collaborate with project teams, central functions, technical groups and external suppliers to resolve challenges and deliver outcomes.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an Operations Manager or in a comparable leadership role within a regulated manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross‑functional teams and manage operational staff.
• Strong understanding of health, safety, quality and regulatory compliance requirements.
• Experience in facilities, asset management and capital investment planning.
• Track record of implementing continuous‑improvement programmes.
