Operations & Practice Manager – Hybrid, London

About the role

We are partnering with a boutique Chartered IFA firm to find an Operations Manager who will act as the operational heart of the business. Based in London with hybrid working, you will influence performance, compliance, people and strategy across a regulated financial services environment.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee financial operations, fee reconciliations, introducer payments and banking processes.
• Manage regulatory and compliance duties, including FCA liaison, reporting and CPD management.
• Lead HR functions such as recruitment, employee reviews, contracts and staff engagement.
• Administer company systems, IT, supplier relationships, board meetings and marketing initiatives.
• Drive process improvement, operational efficiency and produce performance reporting (MI).
• Provide project‑management oversight for various initiatives.

Required profile

• 5+ years’ experience in operations, business support, practice management or senior administration within a regulated environment.
• Proven experience managing and developing teams.
• Degree‑level education or equivalent.
• Strong operational, financial and compliance understanding.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel.
• Confidence working with business systems and financial software.
