Operations Program Manager (Hardware Delivery)

About the role

Moog Aircraft Group is looking for an Operations Program Manager to lead hardware delivery for a major New Product Introduction or Entry Into Service programme. Based onsite in Wolverhampton, this six‑month contract role reports to the Director of NPI & Ops Project Management and works closely with cross‑functional teams to ensure high‑quality, on‑time delivery of hardware.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a detailed hardware delivery plan aligned with customer and internal commitments, covering drawings, operation sheets, work instructions, supplier prove‑outs and first‑article inspections.
• Lead cross‑functional hardware delivery meetings, monitor progress, and communicate status to senior leadership.
• Identify and resolve blocking issues, escalating to the program office and site management as needed.
• Drive production maturity activities, monitor manufacturing readiness, and recommend improvements for capital, industrialisation and producibility.
• Oversee procurement of capital equipment and manage related Capex projects.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing hardware delivery programmes in an aerospace or high‑tech manufacturing environment.
• Strong ability to coordinate multiple functions such as engineering, supply chain, quality and operations.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills to resolve issues and drive decisions.
