Operations Project Manager

About the role

Infinitesima is seeking an Operations Project Manager to lead the delivery of customer‑specific requirements for its advanced semiconductor metrology systems. You will act as the central hub connecting supply chain, manufacturing, engineering, field service and customer operations across the UK, US and Asia.

Key responsibilities

• Own operational delivery of bespoke customer projects, including custom upgrades, qualification activities and feature requests.
• Maintain a clear view of dependencies across supply chain, manufacturing, shipment, installation and customer acceptance.
• Identify risks early and implement mitigation plans to protect delivery schedules.
• Manage cross‑functional workstreams spanning multiple geographies.
• Lead short‑term operational projects where processes are still evolving.
• Provide senior leadership with data‑driven status, risk, forecast and resource reports.
• Establish scalable project‑management standards for future growth.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing complex technical projects or programmes.
• Background in semiconductor, capital equipment, scientific instrumentation or high‑tech engineering environments.
• Strong understanding of operational dependencies across manufacturing, supply chain and delivery.
• Excellent stakeholder management across functions and regions.
• Ability to plan, forecast and manage risk in fast‑growing settings.

Required skills

• Knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing processes.
• Familiarity with capital equipment and scientific instrumentation.
