About the role
We are seeking an Operations & Sales Agent to join a well‑established freight and courier business in the Manchester area. The role sits at the heart of a wholesale freight forwarding operation, handling air‑freight export, import and courier services.
Key responsibilities
- Respond to customer quote requests and prepare accurate quotations.
- Coordinate with airlines and suppliers to secure space and rates.
- Manage bookings, documentation and ensure compliance with import/export regulations.
- Maintain strong relationships with customers, providing timely updates and support.
- Oversee smooth handling of both export and import operations.
Required profile
- Strong communication and organisational abilities.
- Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
- Interest in freight forwarding, air‑freight and courier services.
