Operations Support Manager

About the role

The Operations Support Manager provides essential support to First Response Group’s Operations Managers, ensuring high‑quality site and client management across multiple locations. Working on a rolling shift pattern, the role coordinates logistics, welfare checks and compliance to maintain smooth day‑to‑day operations.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the setup and mobilisation of new sites, delivering equipment, uniforms and resources on time.
• Conduct site surveys, support client expectations and maintain service levels.
• Carry out regular welfare checks on security officers and ensure compliance with Assignment Instructions, RAMS and health‑and‑safety standards.
• Oversee deployment and functionality of security equipment such as body‑worn cameras, Coredinate patrol systems, Big Change and Timegate.
• Provide on‑the‑ground support during critical incidents, liaise with clients and maintain incident records.
• Compile reports on site visits, compliance checks and welfare assessments, offering recommendations for continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Experience in an operational or security supervisory role, preferably within facilities management or security.
• Knowledge of security compliance, risk assessments and health‑and‑safety standards.
• Experience with site mobilisations, client management and welfare checks is desirable.
• Full UK driving licence is essential.

Required skills

• Technical proficiency with Coredinate patrol systems and body‑worn cameras.
• Ability to deploy and troubleshoot security equipment such as Big Change and Timegate.
• Competence in using security technology and reporting tools.
