Operations Team Lead – Investment Operations (ACA/ACCA)

About the role

We are a boutique investment firm specialising in equities and alternatives, looking for an ambitious Investment Operations professional to step into a Team Lead position. The role starts in Investment Operations with a clear development path into Fund Accounting and Valuations, ultimately leading a combined function.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily NAV production, reconciliations and reporting for multiple funds.
• Coordinate middle‑ and back‑office activities, supporting fund launches and investor deliverables.
• Partner with front‑office teams and external providers to ensure smooth fund activity.
• Drive a systems transformation project, shaping processes, improving controls and enhancing operational efficiency.
• Provide informal leadership by mentoring junior staff, managing workflow and contributing to team development.

Required profile

• ACA, ACCA or equivalent accounting qualification.
• Strong experience in investment operations within an asset‑management environment.
• Solid understanding of NAV processes and fund accounting principles.
• Experience mentoring or supervising junior team members.
• Proven track record of process improvement or system implementation.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel, including VBA and macro development.
