Operations & Technical Coordinator

About the role

Kick‑start your career in operations, engineering and commercial coordination. We are seeking a highly organised and ambitious Operations & Technical Coordinator to join our Communal Operations & Maintenance team in Peterborough. The role provides hands‑on experience across engineering surveys, contract administration, reporting and stakeholder management.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate engineering surveys, maintenance activities and site visits.
• Assist in preparing quotations, proposals and contract documentation.
• Support project planning, scheduling and resource allocation.
• Produce reports, presentations and performance updates for clients and internal stakeholders.
• Maintain project and contract information within business systems and databases.
• Liaise with engineers, customers and contractors to ensure smooth progress.
• Track actions, deadlines and milestones through to completion.

Required profile

• Early‑career professional eager to develop in operations, project coordination or technical services.
• Organised, proactive and able to manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong problem‑solving abilities.
• Confident communicator with a range of internal and external contacts.
• Interest in engineering, maintenance and technical operations.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.

Required skills

• Proficient with Microsoft Office.
