Optical Branch Manager – Southampton

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Optical Branch Manager to lead a modern independent practice in Southampton. You will be responsible for delivering a premium in‑store experience while driving commercial growth.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily operations of the optical practice, ensuring high standards of service and compliance.
• Deliver an exceptional customer experience throughout the patient journey.
• Lead, motivate and develop the team to achieve their full potential.
• Identify and act on opportunities for business growth and improved performance.
• Support staff training, engagement and ongoing professional development.
• Oversee administration, compliance and operational procedures.
• Collaborate closely with the Regional Manager and wider network.

Required profile

• Previous management experience within an optical practice (essential).
• Strong leadership and team‑management abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commercially aware with a passion for customer service.
• Confident, organised, self‑motivated and detail‑oriented.
