Optical Domiciliary Manager

About the role

We are seeking an Optical Domiciliary Manager to lead the operational side of our growing domiciliary optical service in Gloucester. This full‑time, Monday‑to‑Friday position offers a high degree of autonomy, allowing you to shape the day‑to‑day running of clinics that serve local care homes.

Key responsibilities

• Manage diaries, scheduling and logistics for mobile optical clinics.
• Plan efficient travel routes and optimise clinic utilisation.
• Build and maintain relationships with care home partners.
• Coordinate NHS administration, paperwork and deliveries.
• Oversee the full operational process behind the scenes to ensure smooth service delivery.

Required profile

• Previous experience within the optical industry.
• Excellent organisational and time‑management abilities.
• Strong communication and relationship‑building skills.
• Ability to work independently and juggle multiple priorities.
• Full clean driving licence and willingness to travel.
