Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive eye examinations and accurate prescriptions.
• Deliver enhanced services, including glaucoma and medical retina assessments.
• Utilise the latest clinical equipment to diagnose and manage ocular conditions.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain high standards of record‑keeping and regulatory compliance.

Required profile

• Registered with the General Optical Council (GOC).
• Passion for delivering outstanding patient care.
• Strong clinical judgement and a proactive, team‑oriented attitude.
• Interest in pursuing specialist qualifications and independent prescribing.

Required skills

• Independent prescribing (qualification supported).
• Glaucoma assessment and certification.
• Medical retina assessment and certification.
• Proficiency with advanced optometric clinical technology.
