About the role
Specsavers in Chepstow is seeking a qualified, GOC‑registered Optometrist to join a community‑focused store. You will deliver high‑quality eye care to a loyal customer base, working either full‑time or part‑time in a supportive environment.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive eye examinations and prescribe corrective lenses.
- Diagnose and manage ocular conditions, including glaucoma and retinal disease.
- Utilise advanced clinical equipment such as OCT to support assessments.
- Provide personalised advice and follow‑up care to enhance patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate patient records and comply with regulatory standards.
Required profile
- GOC‑registered Optometrist with a valid practising licence.
- Passionate about delivering exceptional customer service.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including full‑time or part‑time patterns.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development.
Required skills
- Proficiency in using Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) equipment.
