Optometrist – Full/Part Time – Coatbridge

About the role

Join Specsavers in Coatbridge as an Optometrist delivering high‑standard clinical care and friendly customer service. Whether you are newly qualified or experienced, you will help patients achieve clear vision while supporting business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive eye examinations for patients.
• Provide contact lens fitting and after‑care services.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and update patient histories.
• Collaborate with the store team to meet business targets and ensure high‑quality customer service.
• Utilise test rooms equipped with phoropters and OCT to deliver precise diagnostics.

Required profile

• Registered member of the General Optical Council (GOC) in the UK.
• Strong commitment to delivering excellent patient care.
• Ability to work effectively within a team‑oriented retail environment.
• Flexibility to adapt working hours between 8 am and 6 pm.

Required skills

• Proficiency with phoropters.
• Experience using optical coherence tomography (OCT) equipment.
