Optometrist – Full/Part Time – Deal, South East England

About the role

We are seeking a qualified, GOC‑registered Optometrist to join our Specsavers store in Deal, delivering high‑quality eye care to our customers.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive eye examinations and assess visual health.
• Prescribe spectacles, contact lenses and advise on appropriate corrective solutions.
• Diagnose and manage ocular conditions, referring to specialists when needed.
• Provide clear advice on eye health, product options and after‑care.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and adhere to regulatory standards.
• Stay up‑to‑date with the latest clinical technology and equipment.

Required profile

• Qualified Optometrist registered with the General Optical Council (GOC).
• Strong work ethic, confident and customer‑focused.
• Willing to succeed, support colleagues and go the extra mile.
• Flexible availability for full‑time or part‑time work, including weekends.

Required skills

• Clinical eye examination.
• Prescription of spectacles and contact lenses.
