About the role
Specsavers in Ringwood is seeking a qualified Optometrist to join a community‑focused team. You will deliver high‑quality eye examinations and contact lens services to a diverse customer base, supporting the store’s commitment to accessible and affordable eye care.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive sight tests using the store’s five test rooms.
- Provide contact lens assessments and fittings in the dedicated contact lens room.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with GOC regulations.
- Collaborate with the skilled Contact Lens Officer (CLO) and other team members to achieve service targets.
Required profile
- Registered member of the General Optical Council (GOC) and kept up‑to‑date.
- Strong customer‑service orientation and ability to work well within a team.
- Passion for delivering the best possible eye‑care experience.
Required skills
- Proficiency with optical diagnostic equipment, including Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT).
