Optometrist – Full/Part Time – Uckfield

About the role

Specsavers in Uckfield is seeking a qualified Optometrist to join a community‑focused store. The position can be full‑time or part‑time, with a flexible working pattern to suit the successful candidate.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive eye examinations and provide accurate prescriptions.
• Offer professional advice on eyewear and contact lenses, ensuring an excellent patient experience.
• Utilise the latest clinical technology, including OCT, to support diagnosis and treatment.
• Maintain high standards of hygiene, record‑keeping and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with store staff to build rapport and contribute to a welcoming environment.

Required profile

• Registered with the General Optical Council (GOC).
• Either newly qualified or experienced, with a passion for patient care.
• Commitment to continuous professional development and clinical excellence.

Required skills

• Proficiency in using OCT equipment.
