Optometrist – Full‑time position in Bracknell

About the role
Specsavers is seeking a motivated Optometrist to join its Bracknell store. You will work in a modern environment with seven test rooms equipped with the latest technology, delivering high‑quality eye care to a diverse customer base.
Key responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive eye examinations and vision assessments.
- Prescribe spectacles, contact lenses and provide appropriate recommendations.
- Advise patients on eye health, preventive care and product options.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with a team of experienced opticians and technicians.
- Utilise innovative diagnostic equipment to deliver precise results.
Required profile
- Qualified Optometrist registered with the General Optical Council (GOC).
- Confident, strong work ethic and willing to succeed.
- Team‑oriented, encourages colleagues and goes the extra mile.
- Passionate about delivering excellent patient care.
Required skills
- Conducting clinical eye examinations.
- Prescribing lenses and advising on visual aids.
- Using modern optometric diagnostic equipment.
What we offer
- Salary between £45,000 and £55,000 per year, dependent on experience.
