Optometrist – Full‑time role in St Ives

About the role

Join Specsavers in St Ives as a qualified Optometrist delivering high‑standard eye examinations and contact lens services. You will work closely with the store team to ensure excellent clinical care and a welcoming environment for customers.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive eye examinations for patients of all ages.
• Provide contact lens fitting, advice and follow‑up care.
• Prescribe spectacles and recommend appropriate eyewear.
• Maintain accurate patient records and adhere to health‑safety regulations.
• Collaborate with store staff to meet both clinical and business objectives.

Required profile

• Qualified Optometrist with a valid UK registration.
• Strong commitment to delivering patient‑centred care.
• Ability to work effectively in a retail environment.
• Willingness to pursue further professional development (e.g., IP qualification).
