About the role

Join Specsavers in Bath as a qualified Optometrist delivering high‑quality eye care to a vibrant community. You will work in a modern store environment with six test rooms, a dedicated contact‑lens suite and an audiology area, providing comprehensive vision services to patients.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive eye examinations and prescribe corrective lenses.
• Fit and dispense contact lenses, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
• Utilise advanced clinical equipment, including OCT, to diagnose ocular conditions.
• Provide patient education on eye health, preventive care, and product options.
• Collaborate with store colleagues and support staff to maintain efficient clinic flow and high service standards.

Required profile

• GOC‑registered Optometrist with full professional qualification.
• Strong clinical judgment and a hands‑on approach to patient care.
• Willingness to work one weekend day per week and flexible store hours.
• Commitment to continuous professional development and delivering exceptional customer experience.

Required skills

• Proficiency in using Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) and other diagnostic equipment.
