Oracle Cloud & Database Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a well‑rounded technologist to drive the scaling of our data infrastructure within cloud environments. You will join the Global Database Engineering Team, focusing on Oracle relational database platforms and automation on cloud platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Deploy, migrate and manage Oracle databases on cloud platforms.
• Develop infrastructure‑as‑code for databases and compute resources.
• Create automation platforms and modules to streamline database management.
• Analyze incidents, identify root causes and enhance automation to prevent future issues.
• Design and implement tooling that reduces manual effort across the platform.

Required profile

• Experience in cloud engineering for Oracle databases, including deployment and migration.
• Strong programming and scripting abilities for database and infrastructure tasks.
• Proficiency with Infrastructure‑as‑Code tools and CI/CD pipelines.
• Deep Oracle DBA knowledge covering versions 11g to 19c and Exadata architecture.
• Solid understanding of cloud‑related infrastructure components such as servers, networking, firewalls and storage.
