Oracle Fusion HCM Specialist (12‑Month Fixed‑Term)

About the role

Our client, a global investments business, is undertaking a major HR technology transformation and needs an experienced Oracle Systems Specialist to own and develop their Oracle Fusion HCM capability. The role is based in London with hybrid working and offers a competitive package, including a base salary of around £100,000 plus a completion bonus and benefits.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the lead Oracle Fusion HCM expert, providing functional and technical guidance across Core, Absence, Talent and Learn modules.
• Deliver structured knowledge transfer and training to the internal Oracle project team and the wider HR function.
• Establish and embed governance frameworks and best‑practice approaches for system usage, configuration and change management.
• Identify and recommend opportunities to enhance system utilisation, including under‑used features and emerging Oracle AI capabilities.
• Maintain a detailed understanding of system integrations, workflows and architecture to ensure seamless functionality across modules.
• Provide insight on Oracle Redwood UX and its impact on user adoption, system configuration and overall experience.

Required profile

• Minimum of 5 years’ hands‑on experience with Oracle Fusion HCM Cloud, covering Core HR, Absence, Talent and Learning modules.
• Proven experience working within an in‑house HR environment with a strong understanding of HR operations and stakeholder needs.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver training, knowledge transfer and stakeholder engagement to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Experience designing and implementing governance frameworks and best‑practice approaches for HR systems.
• Solid understanding of system integrations, workflows and user‑experience considerations, including Redwood UI.
• Commercially minded with a track record of identifying optimisation opportunities and driving continuous improvement.
