Order Engagement Administrator

About the role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an organised and customer‑focused Order Engagement Administrator to join a global engineering and manufacturing organisation supporting the energy sector. You will work within a fast‑paced Order Engagement team, ensuring purchase orders are processed accurately from receipt through to delivery while providing exceptional service to customers.

Key responsibilities

• Process customer purchase orders accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain and update order tracking systems for real‑time visibility.
• Liaise with customers and internal stakeholders to resolve order queries and documentation issues.
• Provide timely updates to customers regarding order progress.
• Support the team with general administration, data entry and documentation.
• Ensure all order information is recorded accurately within internal systems.
• Assist with continuous improvement initiatives to enhance order processing and customer experience.
• Build strong relationships with internal teams to ensure smooth order fulfilment.

Required profile

• Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail.
• Strong customer service and communication abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced environment.
• Confidence using Microsoft Office applications.
• Capability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy.
• Self‑motivated and able to work independently once trained.
• Willingness to learn new systems and develop product knowledge.
