Order Fulfilment Manager

About the role

The Order Fulfilment Manager will lead a small office‑based team in Harlow, overseeing the complete order lifecycle from entry to delivery. Reporting to the Head of Operations, you will ensure orders are processed accurately, suppliers are coordinated, and customers receive timely updates.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and develop the Order Fulfilment team, manage workloads and conduct performance reviews.
• Oversee end‑to‑end order processing, including sales order entry, purchase order creation, supplier confirmations and delivery scheduling.
• Maintain accurate order data in Sage 50 and internal systems, providing regular customer communications.
• Monitor KPIs, analyse delays using Root Cause and Pareto analysis, and implement continuous improvement actions.
• Collaborate with Sales, Purchasing and Operations to ensure smooth stakeholder coordination.

Required profile

• Proven experience in operations or supply‑chain environments, preferably within order fulfilment.
• Strong leadership abilities with a track record of developing teams.
• Excellent analytical mindset and a focus on process optimisation.
• Effective communication skills for internal and external stakeholder interaction.

Required skills

• Sage 50 order management software.
