Order Operations Manager

About the role

We are seeking an Order Operations Manager to lead a small team responsible for the accurate and timely processing of customer and supplier orders. This role combines people leadership, process optimisation and strong customer service focus within a growing business.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a team of three order‑processing staff.
• Manage the full order lifecycle from entry through to delivery.
• Monitor key performance indicators and drive operational performance.
• Identify process improvements and remove bottlenecks.
• Collaborate closely with Sales, Purchasing and Quality teams.
• Represent the team’s priorities across the wider business.

Required profile

• Previous leadership or supervisory experience.
• Background in order processing, sales operations, purchasing, supply chain or a similar function.
• Strong customer focus and stakeholder management skills.
• Proven experience improving processes and driving efficiencies.
• Confidence using KPIs and data to make decisions.
• Highly organised with a proactive approach.
