Order Operations Manager – £35k-£40k + Benefits

About the role

The Order Operations Manager will lead a small team responsible for processing customer and supplier orders accurately and on time. You will own the end‑to‑end order lifecycle, work closely with cross‑functional teams and drive continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a team of three order specialists.
• Manage the full order lifecycle from entry through delivery.
• Monitor KPIs and drive operational performance.
• Identify process improvements and remove bottlenecks.
• Collaborate with Sales, Purchasing and Quality teams.
• Act as the voice of the team, ensuring operational priorities are represented across the business.

Required profile

• Previous leadership or supervisory experience.
• Background in order processing, sales operations, purchasing, supply chain or a similar function.
• Strong customer focus and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Experience improving processes and driving efficiencies.
• Confidence using KPIs and data to make decisions.
• Highly organised with a proactive approach.
